You made my 30th Himley Bonfire so wonderful I don’t think I will top it!
Firework companies depend on recommendations for new work so we were hugely pleased to receive a glowing testimonial from one of our longest-standing clients. We have been staging what is now the UK’s biggest Bonfire Night display, at Himley Hall in the West Midlands, for nearly 25 unbroken years.
Himley is renowned throughout the region for its imaginative themes and every year is a challenge to come up with something new. We’ve done everything from the War of the Worlds to Lord of the Rings, even the X Files.
This year the theme was Divas and Dudes, a tribute to musical giants like Freddie Mercury, Shirley Bassey and Adele. For the finale, to Adele’s Skyfall, we fired up nearly 100 waterfall shells which rained down in front of the spellbound audience like some apocalyptic vision of the end of the world!
Sally Newell, who has been running events at Himley for 30 years, wrote to us saying ‘Yet again Fantastic Fireworks pulled out all the stops! The display was second to none…every year you manage to better the previous year’s display and this year was no exception! The fireworks, the music and the choreography were superb, the pre-event planning was a dream and made my job so much easier.
