Happy Birthday Rock Star!

It was one of the biggest showbiz parties of the year and Fantastic Fireworks were honoured to be the outdoor entertainment. The event was a special birthday party for one of rock’s most famous and successful artists Simply Red’s Mick Hucknall. A group of wigwams in the garden of a country house in Berkshire marked the spot where many of the biggest names in music, sport, fashion and politics gathered on a beautifully warm, clear night. After video messages from the likes of Tony Blair, Sir Alex Ferguson and Freddie Flintoff everyone was ushered outside for the fireworks.  We were thrilled to be entertaining someone who has sold over 50 million albums worldwide.  Afterwards the star’s PR manager aptly summed it up when he said ‘That was ****ing fantastic!’ Special thanks to Steve who designed the display to the star’s favourite tunes and to Paul & his team for firing a wonderful show.
