Dad always wanted to go to the moon in a rocket and now I guess he has!

As the leading UK fireworks company we like to put on displays that are out of the ordinary. But there was something extraordinary about our display for Kenilworth Round Table this year. As well as the spectacular fireworks, piercing lasers and fiery flame show there was another item that meant so much more to two members of the audience.

Among the beautiful starbursts which filled the sky were the ashes of Derek Jordan, a longtime supporter of the event. Derek had been attending the Kenilworth fireworks with his two daughters Nina and Sian for 23 years before he sadly and unexpectedly passed away earlier this year.

As a tribute Nina and Sian asked us if we would include his ashes in this year’s display and we were happy to oblige.

Writing to us after the display Nina said ‘We just wanted to say a BIG thank you for all your help. This meant a lot to us and to our Dad’s memory. We could not think of anything more fitting than to have his ashes scattered around the castle where we had all spent so many fun times together.

‘On Saturday Sian, myself our partners and Dad’s grandchildren watched your amazing display with a lot of emotion and many fond memories.  Our dad always joked that he wanted to go to the moon in a rocket and now thanks to you I guess he has!!!’
