Frequently Asked Questions about wedding fireworks
Who are you?
Fantastic Fireworks is dedicated to making your wedding dreams come true. With many years of experience working at such prestige wedding venues as Blenheim Palace, Hatfield House, Brocket Hall and Castle Howard we will give you the perfect end to a perfect day.
How many years’ experience do you have?
Well if you count the managing director’s display at his wedding in 1971, it’s 48 years!
Can I have my wedding fireworks set to music?
Yes, that’s all part of our service. Just choose your favourite songs and we’ll create a music mix that will really make your wedding fireworks sing and dance! To save costs we recommend using your disco or band’s PA system but if that’s not possible we can supply a PA for a small extra charge.
What do your wedding firework display packages include?
Service with a smile! We meet you, discuss your ideas and design your perfect display. We’ll set it to music & include special effects like beautiful wedding hearts. We also take care of all the paperwork. On the night we set up the display, fire it and blow your socks off! In short we take care of everything so you can sit back, relax and enjoy your big day.
Do I need any special permissions to hold a fireworks display at my wedding?
No, there are no restrictions other than any imposed by the venue.
Do all wedding venues allow firework displays?
Most do, however some venues are now insisting on quiet fireworks that don’t disturb neighbours and livestock. We are pleased to also offer this service.
What level of insurance cover do you hold?
£10 million
What is the latest time of night that I can have a wedding fireworks display?
11pm is the legal curfew for most nights in the UK but some wedding venues set earlier times to avoid disturbing neighbours.
Do I need to notify the police or local authorites for my wedding fireworks display?
No. However if you think a display may cause an unexpected disturbance letting them and your neighbours in advance know will make everyone aware.
How much do wedding fireworks cost?
We realise that after a house and a car your wedding will probably be biggest outlay you will ever make. That’s why we try to work within your own budget to give you a dream display. Typically the cost will be in the region of £1300 – £1500.
How much space do I need for my wedding fireworks display?
We have fired displays in all sorts of locations, on the sea, on lakes, on rivers, on rooftops, in city centres and in some of the tightest locations. It all depends on exactly where you have mind. Ideally we like a big open space at least the size of a football pitch.
What happens if it rains?
The show goes on. It’s your special day and we won’t disappoint you!
