Eddie FIZZard!

Fantastic to find that Eddie Izzard is a big fireworks fan. So when Laughs in the Park premiered in St Albans last week we were thrilled to get the call. As with everything Eddie, the devil is in the detail. For the musical accompaniment he chose the sublime Le Grand Choral by the French composer Georges Delerue (which was the title music for the movie The Fantastic Mr Fox). Fireworks exploded on the stage, above the stage and high over the stage as Eddie stepped down to join the audience for his explosive farewell. With more than 10,000 at the St Albans gigs Eddie’s shows are attracting rock ‘n’ roll sized audiences. Good news for comedy and great news for fireworks. We  hope to see him again soon!
