Choosing a fireworks company – stick or twist?
Changing your fireworks contractor isn’t a decision to be taken lightly, especially when you’re organising your 25th anniversary fireworks display. Suppose it’s not as good as last year? Kenilworth Round Table, whose annual Bonfire Night display is one of the largest in the country, had just such a dilemma when deciding who to choose for their silver anniversary fireworks spectacular in the majestic setting of Kenilworth Castle. Fantastic Fireworks were honoured to be awarded the contract and on Saturday night we delivered our promise – ‘fantastic, the best display we’ve ever seen,’ said one of the organisers. ‘I voted against using you but now I’m glad we did!’ The display was choreographed to a music selection chosen to celebrate 25 years of Kenilworth displays and included many stuning effects like the one pictured here resembling giant dandelions, captured by Alan Ranger.
With November 5th not yet over we have already received many other compliments. Organisers of the annual display at Gunwharf Quays, Portsmouth, also changed their firework supplier this year, with a similar outcome. ‘This was the best display that has ever been put on in our 12 years at Gunwharf Quays – the quality of fireworks, the excellent choreography to music and the two barges meant we could really light up the Harbour!’ – John Sackett, Head of Events.
It was a pleasure to return to all our longest standing clients, Drayton Manor Park (23 years), Himley Hall, Dudley (22 years) and Verulamium Park, St Albans (24 years) where a combined audience of more than 65,000 saw some fabulous shows. Colin Bryan, managing director of Drayton Manor Park in the West Midlands, told us: ‘Every year just as I think it can’t get any better you come in and prove me wrong!’
