Given the recent weather a summer tour cagoule might be more useful. The prospect of a typical FF crew clad in wet (and maybe pink) T-shirts is not entirely appealing, even if the ensemble is completed by tasteful and practical waterproof trousers :-)

Do I want one? Well I guess that depends whether I'll get to work on any of the shows in the tour... (but large if I do).

Oh no no, I must disagree Mr R. Two wonderful wheels of destiny between the three firework firing positions (wheels in positions 2 & 4) makes the whole artistic representation far more aesthetically pleasing to the onlooker's eye.............. but when one snaps in half during the rig anyway, it doesn't really matter!!!

Twiddle! Shame on you! How can you say 2 is the ideal number........... Always go for odd numbers 3, 5 99 etc. It's far better aesthetically! (although i'm not sure if there is enough timber in Britain to build 99 wheels of destiny!)

Hi Guys,
As a way of trying to create a bit of a community amongst our retail customers I've set up a forum at http://www.fantasticfireworksforum.co.uk

I would be delighted if you guys could sign up and offer your tuppence worth, especially in the safety advice section. I will endeavour to get you some sort of badge so you can be recognised as qualified & experienced firers as well.

If there are any sections you'd like adding, please let me know (or maybe you can set it up yourselves - not sure yet, all very new!)

Anyway, the more sign ups the better, and hopefully you can have some fun with it all,

Cheers

Pascal

Surely no mistake Nick, I have some on order.

Such calumny Steve! - I'm not prepared to grasp anyones empowerment whether they're wearing waterproof trousers or not. (By the way the experiments with gaffa tape and tie-wire were not a success.)

The FF logo would go down a treat, you just need to market the product and aim it at your potential clientel. eg :-Lingerie gifts for, say, silver wedding anniversaries. Picture the product, Satin Thong embroided on the front with ..........25 Years Of Wow. Simples, market found, clientel sourced, product sold to the man in the corner wearing PVC trousers.

Tony has never grasped the sense of empowerment that comes with wearing waterproof trousers: his naturally grubby mind always focuses on the potential for kinkiness. (On this subject, do ask him about "innovative" applications for sellotape and string if you get the chance).

I haven't put it to the test, but I suspect, the appearance of said trousers would rule out any prospect of consensual kinkiness: I doubt that adding an FF logo would make much difference.

A number of colleagues rely on the suspicion of rain to explain their PVC trousers - not having looked too closely I don't know if they're FF branded. Don't own a pair myself but am prepared to try anything once (except incest and Morris Dancing).

I know little of these matters but understand that both lingerie and PVC clothing, of the interesting kind, can be procured from a lady calling herself Ann something. Perhaps she could be persuaded to sew on the FF logos; would certainly save the office a job.
